The Eolique suspension lamp is created through the formal movement of
a basic geometric matrix. Its overlapping laser-cut aluminum wings rotate
on themselves and allow the light to be managed thus giving rise to
particular lighting effects. Besides acting as a light diffuser, the wings are
an efficient LED cooling system, meaning that the heat emitted by the
sources is actually dispersed by passing from the central part of the body
to the outer part of the wings, thus avoiding overheating.
The option of simply moving the wings with the hands in any number
of directions means that it is possible to create a constantly changing image
of the lamp while at the same time meaning that Eolique is both compact
and occupies less volume for packaging and shipping.
